Great place, like taking a time machine back to a family pizza joint in the 60's. Lots of stuffed critters hanging on the walls which may upset some. Great food and reasonably priced drinks. Get a picture of beer for the same price as the trending places around Valpo ask for a single beer. Cash only; so don't expect to pay with plastic.

This place is a family run business that takes pride in tradition. The pizza are able to go head-to-head with the Chicago neiborhood pizza place.

Best place for pizza in all of Northwest IN. The sausage is inimitable! The prices are totally reasonable: a large pizza is around $16 and pitchers of beer are $5. Decor is vintage, and totally authentic. The service is quick and the servers are kind. The restaurant is family-friendly and has been to three generations of our family. There’s a separate bar area for over 21s. Valpo may change but Tony’s stays as delicious as ever!

The food was excellent..sliced mushrooms as an appetizer and a great deep dish pizza . The prices were very reasonable . The service was fast and friendly We will be back.

Our first time back in several years since recently relocating back to Valparaiso. Still the same rather musty atmosphere but the pizza was quite good. I can’t say that for the service. I made the mistake of asking the server for a cold glass for my luke warm beer. It seems they don’t do that and couldn’t let me have one of their cold mugs. She became very rude and paid little attention to us after that. I had to find another server to take my money. No credit cards. Last time for Tony’s.

I have been going to Tony's since I was a kid. One great constant in town. Great pizza at unbeatable prices. You are family there.

Went there friday nite.first time in in 6 years.pizza was great.didnt realize it was cash only.looked downtown for atm.couldnt find one.came back and told manager or oener.she had app on her phone an did it.plus took care of waiteress.now that's service.will be back. Thank u.

Great service. But not enough cheese on the pizza make sure to get extra. Other than that it's good!

Went in on a Saturday evening with a party of 10 with a reservation. We were seated promptly and order was taken as expected.We waited for an hour for our food to arrive to our table. The waitress stated the bar was really busy so the kitchen was taken a long time. No discounts were offered.

We really enjoyed our visit to Tony's Place. The pizza was great, as was the service! We are new to the area and wanted to try the pizza. We would definitely go back!

Great food, but refuse to do credit cards. With their prices, they could sure afford to run them. Shame. None of us think of going there, because it's becoming a debit/credit card driven world, and this place is friendly and nice, but not worth the trouble. Only place in town that refuses plastic.

Pizza is fantastic. Shrimp scampi pizza is amazing. Regular pizza with your favorite toppings is really good as well. I wish places around here served nacho cheese with their bread sticks...it was common where I came from but not common at pizza places around here. This place is cash only.

I have been coming here for the past 30 or so years and I have never once been disappointed. I have celebrated birthdays and holidays and even my rehearsal dinner here. The prices are great and the quality/quantity is even better

Tony's is a awesome place to have lunch, dinner etc...the employees are very friendly, prices are very affordable. This business DOESN'T accept debit or credit cards, cash or local checks is the payment here. I highly recommend going here. My pizza was Italian sausage, pepperoni, black olives, green peppers, onions & ham.

Best pizza you can get in town fair prices and good quantity for the quality!

A Valparaiso tradition. The pizza is unlike anything you will have. It's not quite like Chicago style, and not like New York either.

Normally their pizza is great, last couple times...not so much. Their beer list is limited, wait staff is slow and/or overworked and they only take cash.

The best best pizza, hands down. We used to come in here every Friday night when I was a kid. The staff was amazing and the food was always on point. 20+ years later I'm happy to say it hasn't changed one but! I try to hit Tony's every time I make it to Valpo

The Mostaccioli Pizza was so damn good. Grandson is home from Washington and we had to go there for dinner tonight before he returns to Army life again.We'll be back again !!Waitress was super also on top of everything.

Yummy gluten free pizza and Strongbow. The server was just okay. It was hard to get my water refilled. Plus, they initially gave us the wrong to-go order. Thankfully, they corrected it before we left. I love the rustic decor.

It was extremely hot out and my family and i decided to stop by here for dinner. We were extremely hot while waiting for our food. It smelled super musty too. My appetite was gone by the time we actually got our food. I felt like i was going to pass out...

I've passed this place so many times it's crazy. I absolutely love this pizza it was great. Can't wait to try other menu items. Only thing I wish they had a better pop machine and pop prices. They're cash only so be prepared for that but it's worth it!!!
